Growing Alberta

Your Thoughts / What's Coming

Your Thoughts

This magazine was chock full of great information. I read cover to cover and it just kept getting better, starting with the article on pinto beans (who knew they grew in Alberta?) to stops along the Cowboy Trail. Good articles on growing veggies and composting and the article on the little spuds!
- Bertha Shaw, Calgary

I was happy to read the article ‘Old is New Again.’ Very enlightening and positive. I’m eager to see spelt and quinoa growing and will likely take a drive to find it. I appreciate the farmers’ risk and hard work. Spelt and quinoa are two of the best things I have learned of in a long while!
- Kari Johansson, South Cooking Lake

The ‘Saddle Up’ column caught my eye. My boyfriend and I love visiting different B&Bs and we’ve got more places to visit now. And I’m just going to try a new recipe for dinner tonight!
- Sabrina Shular, Taber

My husband brought it home. I think he’s regretting that now… I want a trip through the Cowboy Trail this summer!
- Jean Archambault, Red Deer

It looks like our rendition of Anything Muffins on page 48 of the Spring 2007 issue left a little to be desired. Try a new and improved version of Anything Muffins. You’ll find it on our website, www.growingalberta.com.
