Picture Perfect Photograph by Tricia James Fuzzy wonders: Raspberry farmer Tricia James, from Tofield, captured these lambs on a visit to her neighbour’s farm. “My boys get such joy out of seeing the little babies,” she says. Her three-year-old twins and her four-year-old son loved touching the lambs’ soft wool to see how it compared to the texture of lambs in the touch-and-feel books she reads to the boys at home.
James was standing in the darkened barn with her kids and her camera when the beautiful sunlight caught her eye. When the lamb on the left popped its head in the doorway and gave her an inquisitive look, James took that as her “decisive moment” and snapped a picture. “It’s nice to be able to show my kids, educate them on how things grow out here on the farm.” Send us your best food or farm photo for a chance to win $300We're looking for photos that capture the spirit of
