Your Thoughts / What's Coming
Avian Flu Anxiety
I think it’s just so brilliant that Alberta is starting to experiment and succeed with new innovative ways to enhance our agricultural diversity. Thanks very much for the avian flu write-up. I had so many unanswered questions – now I can enjoy my scrumptious barbecued chicken minus the anxiety.

Gluten-Free Goodness
I really appreciated the story about food providers in Edmonton, specifically Kinnikinnick’s for gluten-free products. My son was diagnosed with celiac disease last week, and this article was very informative and helpful. I also used the recipe for asparagus and mushroom frittata from the River Café in Calgary. Thanks so much!

Picture Perfection
I admit it. I am a victim of judging a book by its cover... and the cover with the hands holding the soil/plant (rosemary bush)... stunning! I love the photo contests and pictures!!! There are many other terrific aspects and pieces to read (the recipes and profiles of green kitchens this time were helpful).

Recipe to Relax
“Pamper Yourself” caught my eye. We are all trying to keep fit these days, but we also need a spot to relax when we are home. Your recipes for relaxation will be tried out in this household along with the herbs that heal. We always look forward to Food for Thought. It’s a great magazine. Thanks for giving everyone an opportunity to get a magazine they don’t have to pay for.

tips and energy-saving ideas for your kitchen.
