Your thoughts/What's comingMaking an ImpressionI am writing to say a big thank you for making me a hit with my partner Michael. He has always prided himself (and teased me mercilessly) that he is a good cook and does most of the cooking in our household. It has only been in the last few months that I have taken an interest in learning to cook. After picking up your latest copy at Sunterra, I decided to try the Quesadillas with Roast Chicken, Brie and Roasted Peppers. They turned out delicious and it was my chance to gloat for a change. Thanks for making a great magazine with recipes that a person can actually use and find ingredients for. I particularly found “Cooking 101” to be of great interested given the fact that I am just learning to cook at age 37! Dianna Parsons, Calgary Short and SweetYou produce a lovely, colourful made-in-Alberta magazine featuring items that are geared to us. You have wonderful articles on a whole variety of topics. They are short, concise and full of relevant information. Donna Dawson, St. Albert Back to BasicsI especially enjoyed the article called “Cooking 101” as it demystifies a lot of simple cooking advice and has wonderful, down-to-earth ideas and recipes to follow. Sheila Bartlett, Lethbridge Keeping Track of the IssuesI always enjoy reading Food For Thought. However, this month was the best I’ve ever read and I just had to let you know how much I enjoyed it. I’m going to get a binder and start keeping issues so I can reference to back issues. Betty Squair, by e-mail We welcome your comments.
